SteepPilot is a tea brewing timer and journal app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
SteepPilot does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.
All app data (tea sessions, journal entries, tea collection, presets, and preferences) is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, data is synced through Apple's iCloud/CloudKit service directly — we never see or access this data.
SteepPilot does not use any analytics services, tracking SDKs, advertising identifiers, or cookies. We do not track your usage in any way.
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts to validate subscriptions. They do not receive any personal information beyond what Apple provides for purchase validation. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Apple StoreKit: Purchase transactions are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your payment information.
Apple iCloud: If you enable iCloud sync, your app data is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. This data is encrypted and controlled by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
We do not share any data with third parties. Your brewing data stays on your device (and optionally in your iCloud account).
You can delete all app data at any time from Settings > Data > Clear All Data within the app. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data.
SteepPilot does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
